Praia da Lagoa de Albufeira is a lagoon bordered by huge dunes and a expanse of sand that begins at Costa da Caparica. The lagoon and the sea are split. This split is ideal for small children and for windsurfing, sailing and kitesurfing.

On the sea side of the lagoon is a beach with coarser sand, where the sea has strong wave action. This part is therefore perfect for surfing and bodyboarding. When the sea-water and the lagoon merge, a replacement of the water takes place.

Praia de Galapinhos is one of the most famous beaches in Setúbal. In the summer the temperature here is ideal for swimming. The water is crystal clear and good for snorkelling. The restaurant is open in the summer, but bring your own provisions just to be on the safe side. The landscape there is breathtaking with its rocks, cliffs, mountain, and sea shells. So be sure to bring your camera!

Praia da Califórnia is a safe, beautiful and family-friendly beach. In the summer you will find an aqua-jump trampoline at sea. This beach is also known as Sesimbra Beach – Praia de Sesimbra. You will also find nice places to go out here. From cocktail bars to cozy restaurants on the dike. This beach is a 5 minute drive from Casa Pausa Sesimbra.
